Crossover study
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002725
An experimental design in which each participant receives all the treatments being investigated in a sequential order. Subjects are randomly assigned to different treatment sequences, and each participant acts as their own control, which reduces the impact of inter-individual variability. A washout period between treatments is scheduled to prevent the effects of one treatment from carrying over and influencing the response to the next.
