Degradable polymer

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002930

A polymer material that is capable of undergoing chemical breakdown into smaller molecules or oligomers when exposed to specific environmental factors. These factors can include light, heat, moisture, or biological activity. This property is often engineered for applications requiring controlled material lifespan or environmental compatibility.
