Dysgenesis

Abnormal development of an organ or tissue during embryonic or fetal growth, resulting in its incomplete formation or structural defects. This developmental anomaly can affect any organ system, leading to impaired function or absence of the structure. For example, gonadal dysgenesis involves the improper development of the testes or ovaries.
