Equivalence-point
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004076
The theoretical point in a titration where the amount of titrant added is stoichiometrically equivalent to the amount of analyte present in the sample. At this point, the chemical reaction between the titrant and analyte is complete according to the balanced chemical equation. It is often estimated by observing a sudden change in a physical or chemical property of the solution.
