Titration error
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012090
The difference between the volume of titrant actually added to reach the end point of a titration and the theoretical volume required to reach the equivalence point. This discrepancy arises from the indicator not changing color precisely at the equivalence point or from other experimental limitations. It is often expressed as a percentage of the equivalence volume.
