Titrand
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012086
The chemical species in a solution whose concentration is to be determined in a titration experiment. This substance is typically placed in the titration flask and reacts with a precisely known volume and concentration of another reagent, the titrant. The titrand's concentration is calculated from the volume of titrant consumed at the equivalence point.
