Catalymetric titration

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001701

A titration method where the endpoint is determined by monitoring a change in the rate of a catalyzed reaction. The titrant or analyte acts as a catalyst, an inhibitor, or a reactant that affects the concentration of one of these species. This technique is particularly sensitive for determining very low concentrations of substances that influence reaction kinetics.
