Radiometric titration

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009898

A titration method where the endpoint is determined by monitoring the change in radioactivity of the solution or a precipitate. This is achieved by using a radioactive titrant or by labeling one of the reactants with a radioisotope. The radioactivity measurement indicates the completion of the reaction, often by a sharp change in the activity curve.
