Radiometric analysis

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009897

A quantitative analytical method that determines the amount of a substance by measuring the activity of a radioactive isotope. This can involve measuring the radiation emitted directly from the analyte or from a product formed from it. The technique is highly sensitive and is used for trace analysis, often in environmental monitoring and biological studies.
