Potentiometric titration

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009329

A volumetric analytical method where the endpoint of a titration is determined by monitoring the potential difference between an indicator electrode and a reference electrode as a titrant is added. The potential changes sharply at the equivalence point, indicating the completion of the reaction. This technique is applicable to acid-base, redox, precipitation, and complexometric titrations.
