Blank titration
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001364
A titration performed on a solution containing all reagents except the analyte. This procedure determines the volume of titrant required to react with impurities in the reagents or to reach the endpoint in the absence of the target substance. The volume of titrant consumed in the blank titration is subtracted from the volume used for the sample titration.
