Examination trueness

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004158

A measure of accuracy for nominal (qualitative) examinations, representing the proportion of examined values that are identical to the reference nominal values. It indicates how well a qualitative test correctly identifies the true state or category. This differs from trueness in quantitative measurements, which relates to the closeness of a mean to a true value.
