Frontal lobe

The largest of the four major lobes of the mammalian brain, located at the front of each cerebral hemisphere, anterior to the parietal lobe and superior to the temporal lobe. It is involved in executive functions such as planning, decision-making, problem-solving, and voluntary movement. Damage to this region can result in personality changes and impaired cognitive abilities.
