Frontal chromatography
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004680
A chromatographic technique where the sample is continuously introduced onto the column, and the components are separated based on their differing affinities for the stationary phase. The least retained component elutes first as a pure substance, followed by mixtures of increasing complexity. This method is primarily used for determining adsorption isotherms or for purifying the least retained component.
