Ground level concentration
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005034
The concentration of a pollutant or chemical substance measured at or near the Earth's surface, typically within a few meters of the ground. This measurement is particularly relevant for assessing human exposure to air pollutants and their impact on ecosystems. Ground level concentrations are influenced by emission sources, meteorological conditions, and atmospheric dispersion processes.
