Immission dose
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005625
The total amount of a pollutant absorbed by a receptor (e.g., an organism or material) over a specific period, resulting from exposure to ambient concentrations. It quantifies the cumulative exposure to environmental contaminants, taking into account both concentration and duration. This metric is often used in toxicology and environmental health assessments to evaluate potential harm.
