Immission flux
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005626
The rate at which a substance is transferred from the atmosphere to a receptor surface per unit area. This measurement quantifies the deposition of airborne pollutants onto surfaces like vegetation, soil, or water bodies. It is typically expressed in units such as mass per unit area per unit time, for example, micrograms per square meter per second.
