Insemination

The process by which spermatozoa are introduced into the female reproductive tract, either naturally through sexual intercourse or artificially. This allows for the fertilization of an ovum and the initiation of pregnancy. Artificial insemination is a common technique in animal breeding and human fertility treatments.
