Reproductive toxicity

The adverse effects of a substance on sexual function and fertility in adult males and females, as well as developmental toxicity in the offspring. This includes alterations to the reproductive organs, changes in hormone levels, or direct harm to gametes or embryos. Assessment of reproductive toxicity often involves multi-generational studies in animal models.
