Reproductive toxicant

A substance or agent that causes adverse effects on the reproductive system of an organism, or on the development of its offspring. These effects can include impaired fertility, spontaneous abortion, birth defects, or developmental delays. Exposure to such toxicants can occur through environmental, occupational, or medicinal routes.
