Male-mediated toxicity

The adverse effects on offspring or a female partner resulting from exposure of the male to a toxic substance. This occurs when a toxicant affects male germ cells or reproductive function, leading to developmental abnormalities in the offspring or reproductive issues in the female. Such toxicity can manifest as mutations, epigenetic changes, or altered sperm quality.
