One-generation reprotox study

A toxicology study designed to assess the effects of a substance on the reproductive performance of one generation of animals, from mating through gestation, lactation, and weaning of offspring. This study evaluates fertility, developmental toxicity, and parental care. It typically involves exposure of both male and female parental animals prior to and during mating.
