Combined repeated dose toxicity study

A rodent study, such as the one in OECD Test Guideline 422, that combines a repeated dose toxicity test with a screening test for reproductive and developmental effects. Groups of males and females receive graded daily doses before mating and through mating, with males dosed for at least 28 days and females continuing through pregnancy into lactation. Endpoints include clinical signs, body weight, organ pathology, fertility and offspring survival.
