Gestation index

A quantitative measure reflecting the developmental stage of an embryo or fetus, often used in toxicology studies to assess the impact of chemical exposure. This index considers morphological characteristics and developmental milestones to assign a numerical score. It provides a standardized method for comparing developmental progress across different experimental groups or species.
