Stillbirth

The death of a fetus in the uterus or during birth after a specific gestational age. This event is distinguished from a miscarriage, which occurs earlier in pregnancy. The World Health Organization defines stillbirth as a baby born with no signs of life at or after 28 weeks of gestation, although some national definitions use a threshold of 20 or 24 weeks.
