Pre-eclampsia

A serious medical condition that develops during pregnancy, characterized by high blood pressure and signs of damage to another organ system, most often the kidneys. This condition can lead to severe complications for both the pregnant individual and the fetus. It is diagnosed after 20 weeks of gestation and can progress to eclampsia, which involves seizures.
