Eclampsia

The onset of seizures in a woman with pre-eclampsia, a condition characterized by high blood pressure and protein in the urine during pregnancy. These seizures are not attributable to other causes and represent a severe complication of pregnancy. Eclampsia is a medical emergency requiring immediate intervention to protect both the mother and the fetus.
