Status epilepticus

A neurological emergency characterized by continuous seizure activity lasting for an extended period, typically 30 minutes or more, or by recurrent seizures without full recovery of consciousness between episodes. This condition can lead to permanent brain damage or death if not promptly treated. It requires immediate medical intervention to stop the seizures.
