Hydatidiform mole
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005445
A rare complication of pregnancy characterized by the abnormal growth of trophoblasts, the cells that normally develop into the placenta. This condition results in a non-viable pregnancy where the placenta develops into a mass of cysts resembling a bunch of grapes. It can be complete or partial, with varying degrees of fetal tissue presence.
