Mole percent

A unit of concentration defined as the number of moles of a specific component in a mixture or solution, divided by the total number of moles of all components, multiplied by 100. This dimensionless quantity expresses the molar fraction as a percentage. It is commonly used for gas mixtures and solid solutions.
