Insecticide

A type of pesticide specifically formulated to kill, harm, repel, or mitigate one or more species of insect. These chemical agents function through different modes of action, such as disrupting the nervous system, inhibiting growth, or preventing reproduction. Insecticides are classified into groups based on their chemical structure, including organophosphates, carbamates, pyrethroids, and neonicotinoids.
