Nematicide

A substance or chemical agent specifically formulated to kill nematodes, which are microscopic, worm-like organisms. These pesticides disrupt the life cycle of nematodes that are parasitic on plants or animals, thereby preventing damage to crops or disease in livestock. Nematicides are classified based on their chemical nature, such as halogenated hydrocarbons or organophosphates, and their mode of action.
