Ascaricide

A chemical agent or drug used to kill or expel parasitic roundworms of the genus Ascaris from the gastrointestinal tract of humans or animals. These compounds interfere with the worms' nervous system or metabolism, leading to their paralysis and expulsion. Common ascaricides include mebendazole and pyrantel pamoate.
