Vermicide
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012549
A chemical agent that kills parasitic worms, particularly those inhabiting the intestines. These substances are used to treat infestations in humans and animals by directly acting on the parasites. Unlike a vermifuge, a vermicide causes the death of the worms rather than simply expelling them.
