Lab-on-valve extraction

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006405

An extraction technique where the entire extraction process, including sample loading, reagent addition, and phase separation, is carried out within the channels and ports of a single multi-port valve. This integrated approach facilitates automation and miniaturization of sample preparation. It is often employed in flow injection analysis systems for efficient and reproducible extractions.
