Lab-on-a-chip extraction

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006404

A sample preparation process where an extraction is carried out within the microchannels of a microfluidic device. This miniaturized system integrates steps such as sample and solvent introduction, mixing, phase contact, and separation on a single chip. The technique operates with very small quantities of sample and reagents, with volumes in the microliter to nanoliter range.
