Lamellar block copolymer

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006428

A block copolymer that self-assembles into a lamellar morphology, characterized by alternating layers of the different polymer blocks. This structure arises from the microphase separation of immiscible blocks. The thickness of these layers is typically on the nanometer scale and depends on the molecular weight of the blocks.
