Block copolymer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001378
A macromolecule composed of two or more polymeric blocks of different chemical compositions or constitutional units linked together. These blocks are joined by covalent bonds, forming a single polymer chain. The distinct chemical nature of the blocks often leads to microphase separation, resulting in ordered nanostructures.
