Multicoat morphology

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007622

A concentric-shell structure found when a block copolymer is mixed with a homopolymer identical to one of its blocks: copolymer and homopolymer form alternating layers around a common centre, like an onion. Particles of this kind dispersed in a matrix of the homopolymer are equivalent to onion morphology.
