Onion morphology
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008239
A specific type of phase-separated morphology observed in multiphase polymer systems, characterized by concentric layers of different polymer phases, resembling the layers of an onion. This structure often arises from sequential polymerization or specific processing conditions. It can influence the mechanical and barrier properties of the material.
