Ordered co-continuous double gyroid morphology
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008303
A complex three-dimensional nanostructure observed in block copolymers, characterized by two interwoven, continuous, and bicontinuous networks. This morphology arises from the microphase separation of the polymer blocks and possesses a specific space group symmetry. It is often identified through techniques such as small-angle X-ray scattering.
