Graft homopolymer

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004985

A homopolymer whose macromolecules carry side chains made from the same monomer as the main chain but differing from it in configuration or constitution, for example in tacticity. The side chains are attached at points along the main chain by grafting. The structure is branched, unlike a linear homopolymer of the same monomer.
