Leptodactyly

A congenital abnormality characterized by abnormally long and slender fingers and toes. In developmental toxicology, it is a structural malformation observed in offspring following prenatal exposure to certain chemical substances or other teratogenic agents. This condition is distinct from arachnodactyly, which also involves long fingers but is specifically associated with genetic disorders like Marfan syndrome.
