Median teratogenic concentration
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007130
The concentration of a substance that causes a specific teratogenic effect in 50% of the exposed offspring of a test population. This metric is used in developmental toxicology to quantify the potential of a chemical to induce birth defects. It is expressed in units of mass per volume, such as micrograms per liter (µg/L).
