Lipidosis
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013239
A condition characterized by the abnormal accumulation of lipids within cells or tissues. These disorders arise from defects in lipid metabolism, often due to enzyme deficiencies that prevent the proper breakdown or transport of fatty substances. This accumulation can impair cellular function and lead to organ damage.
