Meta-analysis

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007234

A quantitative statistical procedure that combines the results from multiple independent scientific studies addressing the same question. It aims to identify patterns and relationships across study results to produce a single, more precise estimate of the effect size. The process involves defining inclusion criteria for studies, extracting data, and using a statistical model, such as a fixed-effect or random-effects model, to synthesize the findings.
