Out-of-control criteria

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008373

A set of predefined rules or statistical thresholds used to determine when a process, such as an analytical measurement, is no longer operating within its expected statistical limits. Exceeding these criteria indicates that a process is unstable or has shifted, requiring investigation and corrective action. These criteria are often visualized on a control chart.
