Process in a state of statistical control

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009494

A process operating with only random, common-cause variation, where all observed variations are within expected statistical limits. This indicates that the process is stable and predictable, with no special causes of variation present. Data from such a process, when plotted on a control chart, will fall within the upper and lower control limits.
