Pentaprismo-
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008602
A prefix in names for a structure whose ten atoms sit at the vertices of a pentagonal prism, a solid with two parallel pentagonal faces joined by five rectangular sides. Pentaprismane, C10H10, is the hydrocarbon example, a strained cage of D5h symmetry in which every carbon atom is bonded to three other carbons and one hydrogen.
