Plackett-Burman design
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008994
A two-level fractional factorial experimental design used for screening a large number of factors to identify the ones with the most influence on a response. These designs are efficient for studying N-1 factors in N runs, where N is a multiple of four. The analysis focuses on main effects, as higher-order interactions are confounded with them, making this design suitable for initial screening rather than detailed process characterization.
